Busy Recruiting Staff

Diving into the bustling task of recruiting for upcoming seasons, Craig and Brendon have been on an exciting journey seeking potential staff. Craig's itinerary included a week each in Tuvalu and Vanuatu, marking his inaugural visit to Tuvalu. Immersing himself in the unique culture and lifestyle of the country was a pivotal experience. Understanding the local dynamics is a game-changer in effectively managing our Tuvaluan staff, both within and beyond the workplace.

Tuvalu, a cash-based society with only one bank and devoid of ATMs, presented a fascinating environment. Yet, what truly stood out was the warm and welcoming nature of the people, greeting visitors with infectious smiles at every turn. However, transit to Vanuatu brought unexpected challenges—Craig's luggage was lost, leaving him with no spare clothes for most of the week. To add to the saga, his luggage went missing again while departing from Vanuatu. A real travel hiccup!

On the other hand, Brendon's trip to Papua New Guinea to explore recruitment opportunities was relatively smoother. Despite the frequent rainfall and ever-present security measures, Brendon found his time in PNG to be enriching. The outcome was especially rewarding, as we're set to employ 20 individuals from the region.

The journeys of Craig and Brendon were undeniably fruitful and successful. Despite the luggage misadventures and unique encounters in the Pacific, these trips have been instrumental in shaping our future team dynamics and growth.
